TOGETHER WE ASPIRE!

The motto of my home country of Trinidad and Tobago simply says, “Together we aspire, Together we achieve.” I believe we can aspire to achieve so much more for the Kingdom of God when we work together through the power of prayer, faith, hope and giving. So it is with a humble heart that I ask you to listen for the voice of God and consider partnering with me through the generosity of sowing a seed. Read more below and prayerfully consider partnering with Dr. Jazz Ministries.

PARTNER WITH DR JAZZ

I am the product of a seed. I came to the United States after the death of my mother — having never known my father — with one suitcase, a God-given dream, and a $32 seed in my pocket. That seed was sown by family, friends, and church members from throughout my village who believed that God had a greater plan for my life than to remain in an impoverished, drug-infested and violent community. Through faith and trust in God, that $32 seed has allowed me to attend college and then earn a Doctor of Ministry degree.

Just like God used that $32 seed to bring me out of a place of lack and despair, I believe your seed will manifest into a harvest that will create a beacon of hope and encouragement in the lives of women, men, girls and boys — beginning on the island of Trinidad and Tobago and then expanding around the world.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • Distributing backpacks and school supplies to the most economically challenged students, teachers and school administrators

  • Purchasing a warehouse in Trinidad to serve as a thrift shop for needy households

  • Creating an all-girls academy to provide a safe, empowering place for other Daughters of Thunder

  • Partnering with companies to help support running water within my home village of Laventille

  • Launching “Jazz Afternoon Time,” a community-based educational and economic development program

  • Providing “Moment of Thunder” highlights of my sermons on Trinidad radio to spread the good news of the Gospel and offer hope in a place that so many view as hopeless
